Nuraghe Punta Acutza

The Nuraghe Punta Acutza, located in the territory of Masainas in Sulcis, is a nuragic site located in a slightly elevated area compared to the surrounding landscape. The context is typical of south-western Sardinia, where rural environments and archaeological traces still live well readable.
The structure, made of local stone, today is in a state of ruins but preserves sufficient remains to identify the nuragic plant. The position on a small relief suggests a function linked to the visual control of the territory and the agricultural areas below, a recurring element in the nuragici sites of Sulcis. The area maintains a strong landscape character, with a natural integration between rock, vegetation and archaeological remains.
