Nuraghe Punta sa Intilla

The Nuraghe Punta de Sa Intilla is located in the territory of Gonnesa, in the Iglesiente, in a landscape of strong impact between coast and natural reliefs. The site is an example of local stone nuragic architecture, today in a state of ruins, but still recognizable in its original setting.
The position, particularly suggestive and panoramic, allows to understand a possible strategic role linked to the visual control of the coastal tract and the internal passageways. The wall remains highlight the presence of an articulated nuragic structure, typical of the settlements distributed along the heights of the Iglesiente. The environmental context, still little anthropized, contributes to enhancing the historical identity of the site.
