Nuraghe sa Craba

The Nuraghe Sa Craba is located in the territory of Sulcis-Iglesiente (SU), in south-western Sardinia, and is an important testimony of nuragic architecture. It is an ancient megalithic complex dating back to the Bronze Age, made with large stone blocks and intended for defensive and settlement functions.
The nuragic structure is part of the typical Sardinian archaeological landscape, characterized by the presence of stone towers, remains of villages and traces of the nuragic civilization. The site is an example of the widespread diffusion of these buildings in the island.
