Nuraghe Sa Idda

The Nuraghe Sa Idda, located in the territory of Perdaxius nel Sulcis, is located in a rural area about 2 km from the town, in a landscape typical of the south-western Sardinian hinterland. The site is located in a territory characterized by fields, sweet reliefs and a widespread presence of archaeological evidence.
The structure, made of local stone, is visible today in the form of ruins and preserves only part of the original plant, still in the phase of study and deepening. The typology of nuraghe means a function linked to the control of the territory and the presence of the settlement diffused in the Sulcis area. Its relatively close position in the country suggests a direct link with the employment system of the ancient territory.
