Nuraghe Sa Perda

The Nuraghe Sa Perda, in the territory of Masainas (Sulcis), is a nuragic site located in an internal area and poorly urbanized, about 6 km from the town. The context is typical of the agricultural landscape of the south-west Sardinia, where the presence of archaeological evidence integrates with still well preserved natural environments.
The structure, made of local stone, today is in rough conditions, but retains enough elements to allow its reading as a nuragic settlement. Its decentralized position with respect to the main inhabited nuclei makes thinking of a place linked to the control of the countryside and the management of the resources of the territory, rather than a large central complex.
