Nuraghe Sa Scrocchitta

The Nuraghe Sa Scrocchitta, in the territory of Sant’Antioco (Sulcis), is located in a rural area not far from the town, where the landscape alternates agricultural land, uncultivated areas and low Mediterranean vegetation. It is an area that still retains a strong rural footprint, with natural elements well visible and landscape continuity.
The monument, built in local stone, today appears reduced to scattered remains and does not return a complete architectural form, but maintains sufficient traces to be recognized as a nuragic testimony. More than a structured complex, the site seems to be a secondary point of attendance, inserted in a wider system of presences spread on the island. Its value emerges above all in the relationship with the context, more than in material preservation.
