Nuraghe Santa Lucia

The Nuraghe Santa Lucia, located in the territory of south-western Sardinia, is part of a rural landscape typical of Sulcis, characterized by alternation between agricultural areas and natural areas still intact. The site is located in an unisolated position, but well integrated in the surrounding territorial system.
The structure, made of local stone, today is in a state of ruins and preserves only part of the original plant, enough however to identify the nuragic type. The remains suggest a small settlement, probably linked to control functions and local resource control. The environmental context and the distribution of the nearby sites confirm the membership of a widespread settlement network, typical of the nuragic organization of the territory.
