Nuraghe Santu Milanu

The Nuraghe Santu Milanu, in Sulcis, is located in a context where the landscape still seems little touched: stretches of open countryside, stone and low vegetation draw a typical scenery of the south-western Sardinian interior.
Today only elements of the monument are scattered in local stone, enough to suggest the presence of a small nuragic building, probably not monumental but functional to the control of the surrounding territory. It is not a “imposing” site, but rather a point inserted in a wider network of diffused presidi, which together tell the capillary organization of the area in the nuragic era. The overall impression is that of a quiet place, where the structure is almost confused with the natural environment.
