Nuraghe Santu Pauli

The Nuraghe Santu Pauli, in the territory of Villamassargia, is located in a rural area of the Iglesiente characterized by soft reliefs, open countryside and a strong presence of Mediterranean vegetation. The context is quiet and little urbanized, with a landscape that leaves room for the natural component.
The structure, made of local stone, today is preserved only in part and is presented as a set of remains that do not allow a complete reading of the original architecture. Despite the fragmentation, the site is traced back to the nuragic civilization and suggests the presence of a small settlement linked to the control of the territory and local activities. The location, not isolated but inserted in a relief system, connects it to other archaeological points distributed in the area.
