Nuraghe Senzu II

The Nuraghe Senzu II is located in the territory of Tratalias (SU), in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is an archaeological site belonging to the Sardinian nuragic civilization. The structure is a testament to the ancient human presence in the area, dating back to the Bronze Age, and contributes to defining the widespread archaeological heritage of southern Sardinia.
The nuraghe is part of the type of nuragic megalithic buildings, made with large stone blocks and used with defensive functions, housing and control of the territory. Its presence highlights the strategic importance of the territory of Tratalias in ancient settlement systems.
