Nuraghe Sessini

The Nuraghe Sessini, located in the territory of Perdaxius nel Sulcis, is about 4 km from the town, in a rural setting characterized by large agricultural spaces and natural reliefs. The area retains a strong connection with the traditional landscape of the south-west Sardinia, where the nuragic testimonies are distributed widely.
The structure, made of local stone, today appears in a state of ruins, with remains that allow to recognize the original plant of the nuraghe. Its location more decentralized than the country suggests a function linked to the control of the surrounding countryside and resources, rather than a central settlement.
