Nuraghe Perdu Spada

The Nuraghe Perdu Spada, in the territory of Narcao (Sulcis), rises in an area open a short distance from the village, where the landscape alternates cultivated fields and natural areas. The nuragic site is now visible in fragmentary form, but it retains enough elements to recognize its original function.
The construction, made of local stone, shows the remains of a plant that was probably not isolated but inserted in a network of small districts scattered on the territory. The location suggests a use linked more to the surveillance of production areas than to large monumental functions. The whole is integrated with the rural context without emerging in a dominant way, maintaining a discreet but significant character.
