Nuraghe Su Medadeddu

The Nuraghe Su Medadeddu, located in the territory of Portoscuso in Sulcis, is part of a coastal and hilly landscape where the Mediterranean nature alternates with stretches of countryside and rocky outcrops. The site is located in a slightly elevated position compared to the surrounding areas, which accentuates its landscape and strategic value.
The structure, made of local stone, today is in a state of ruins and preserves only portions of the original plant. The remains however allow to recognize a small nuragic settlement, probably linked to the control of the territory and the communication routes between the interior and the coast. Its location is part of the network of nuragic sites spread in the area of Portoscuso, characterized by a strong integration with the natural environment.
