Nuraghe su Molinu

The Nuraghe Su Molinu is located in the territory of Tratalias (SU), in the Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is an archaeological site of great interest linked to the Sardinian nuragic civilization. The structure is a testimony of the ancient human settlement in the area, dating back to the Bronze Age, and is one of the typical elements of the archaeological landscape of southern Sardinia.
The nuraghe is part of the nuragic megalithic towers, built in stone with defensive function, housing and control of the territory. Its presence highlights the strategic importance of the area of Tratalias in the settlement dynamics of antiquity.
