Nuraghe sul monte Montixi

The Nuraghe on Mount Montixi, in the territory of Villamassargia, is located in a elevated position overlooking the surrounding landscape, between hills and stretches typical of the English. The context is that of an area still strongly natural, where the rock and the Mediterranean vegetation build an environment of strong visual impact.
The structure, made of local stone, today is preserved only in part, but the position at altitude allows to intuit its strategic function linked to the visual control of the territory. Although the remains do not return a complete plant, the site stands out for the panoramic value and for the inclusion in a dominant point of the relief, a typical element of many nuragic structures with sighting function or garrison.
