Nuraghe Tratalias

The Nuraghe Tratalias, in Sulcis, is located in an open and agricultural area where the landscape is built more by fields and lines of vegetation than by marked natural elements. It is a quiet setting, where historical traces emerge without dominating the territory, almost integrated in rural everyday life.
The nuraghe, made of local stone, remains today only scattered and unreadable elements, which do not allow to accurately reconstruct the original shape. More than a recognizable monument, it is perceived as an ancient trace scattered in the soil, linked to the human presence in the nuragic era. Its position in the plain allows to think of a functional point, probably connected to agricultural management and light control of the territory, more than to a structured center.
