Nuraghe Turritta

Nuraghe Turritta Teulada is an ancient nuragico archaeological site located in the territory of Teulada, in southern Sardinia. It is a stone structure dating back to the Bronze Age, testimony to the nuragic civilization that characterized the island. The nuraghe, today in a state of ruins, preserves traces of its original function, probably linked to the control of the territory and the defense of the surrounding areas. Placed in a natural context typical of Sulcis, between Mediterranean scrub and rural landscapes, the site represents an important historical and archaeological testimony, offering an authentic split of ancient Sardinia and its prehistoric communities.
