Parco del Monte Linas

The Monte Linas Park is a vast mountainous area of Sulcis-Iglesiente, located in south-western Sardinia, characterized by harsh landscapes, granite reliefs and rich biodiversity. The Monte Linas massif is one of the main natural emergencies of the island, with peaks exceeding 1,000 meters of altitude.
The territory is dominated by forests, Mediterranean scrub and rocky areas, which create a varied environment and of great ecological value. Among the most common plant species are oaks, cork and shrubs typical of Sardinian flora, while the fauna includes numerous endemic and protected species.
The area is crossed by hiking trails and nature trails that allow you to explore gorges, valleys and panoramic points of great suggestion. The landscape is one of the most intact of Sulcis, with a strong wild and little anthropized character.
