Piazza Belvedere

The Belvedere Square of Nebida is one of the most picturesque sights in the area of Iglesias, located in the coastal hamlet of Nebida, overlooking the coast of Sulcis-Iglesiente. The square is mainly known for its open view of the sea and coastal mining scenes, including the famous Laveria Lamarmora.
The site is located in a context of strong landscape and historical value, where nature and industrial archaeology meet. The square-belvedere is in fact a privileged place to observe the ancient mining structures and the coastal landscape, very frequented by visitors and photographers.
