Piazza De Gasperi

The Piazza De Gasperi of Sant’Antioco is a district urban space located in the town centre, inserted in a residential and service context. The square is dedicated to Alcide De Gasperi, historical figure and protagonist of the Italian political reconstruction of the post-war period, to which many public spaces in the country are titled.
The area mainly carries out a local aggregation function, with open spaces used for daily sociality, the passage and activities of residents. Its structure is typical of the district squares, designed to guarantee viability and meeting points within the urban fabric.
