Piazza del Minatore

The Piazza del Minatore di Carbonia is an urban space located in Via Catania, symbolically dedicated to the memory of the mining work that deeply marked the history of the city and the entire territory of Sulcis-Iglesiente. The square recalls the original identity of Carbonia, born as a mining town in 1938.
