Pineta di Is Compingius

The Pineta di Is Compingius is located along the coast of Sulcis-Iglesiente, in the coastal part of Buggerru. It is a natural coastal area characterized by a thick pine forest that develops close to the sea, in a context dominated by cliffs, cliffs and Mediterranean scrub.
The vegetation, consisting mainly of sea pines, plays an important role in soil protection and stabilization of the dunal and coastal system, contributing to the protection of the local ecosystem. The contrast between the shaded pine forest and the surrounding rocky landscape makes the area particularly striking.
The pine forest is used as a natural and recreational area, with shaded paths ideal for walks, relaxation and outdoor activities, especially in summer. The proximity to the sea increases its landscape and tourist value.
