Piscina Morta

La Piscina Morta is a rare natural lake located in the hinterland of Sulcis-Iglesiente, in the territory of Buggerru. It is a mirror of wind water, considered one of the most particular lakes in Sardinia.
The lake is part of a landscape characterized by coastal and hilly environments shaped by the wind, with presence of Mediterranean vegetation and sandy soils. Its natural origin makes it a delicate ecosystem and of great environmental interest.
