Pozze di Giriadroxiu

The wells of Giriadroxiu are located in the territory of Nuxis, in Lower Sulcis, within the Gutturu Mannu Park, and are one of the most suggestive river environments of south-western Sardinia. The site is shaped by the course of the Rio Mannu, which over time dug the rock creating a natural system of tanks and waterfalls.
The area is characterized by natural pools, small waterfalls and rapids, immersed in spectacular formations of pink granite, which give the landscape a strong scenic impact. The action of water shaped the rock creating smooth shapes and deep pools.
