Pozzo Sacro di Tattinu

The Pozzo Sacro di Tattinu is located in the territory of Nuxis, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, on the slopes of Mount Tamara, within a dense and natural wooded context. It is an important monument of nuragic archaeology, belonging to the type of sacred wells, places of worship related to the religious world and ritual of ancient Sardinia.
The structure is hypogeous, that is, partially excavated in the subsoil, and is not visible on the surface due to its architectural conformation. This element makes it a particularly significant example of integration between nuragic construction and surrounding natural environment.
