Pozzo sacro

Sacred well at Lake Grutti Acqua in Sant’Antioco is a small but significant nuragic archaeological site immersed in a natural area full of charm. Here are still the traces of the ancient water worship, a fundamental element for the nuragic civilization and its sacred rites. The context, more wild and less anthropized than other sites, returns an intimate and almost “hidden” atmosphere, where history intertwines with the damp and silent landscape of Sulcis.
