Pozzo Su Paris

The Pozzo Su Paris is located in the territory of Fluminimaggiore, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is an important testimony of the Sardinian mining archaeology linked to the historical extractive district of Fluminese. The site is one of the elements of the cultivation system and access to the mineral resources of the area.
The well was part of the infrastructure used for the extraction and management of minerals, in a productive context that characterized the territory between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Its function was linked to underground connections and the support of excavation and transport activities.
