Punta Bega Trotta

The Punta Bega Trotta is located in the territory of Domusnovas, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a mountainous relief inserted in the natural complex of the Marganai Forest, one of the most important forest areas of south-western Sardinia. The site is part of a limestone-carsic system of great environmental and geological interest.
The landscape is dominated by wood forests, Mediterranean scrub and limestone rocky outcrops, which characterize the entire Marganai massif. The environment is rich in biodiversity and has a high degree of naturality, with thick and little anthropized woodlands.
