Punta Trettu

The Punta Trettu is located in the territory of San Giovanni Suergiu, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, along the south-western coast of Sardinia. It is a coastal area characterized by a wide, shallow water mirror and particularly favourable marine conditions, which define its natural morphology.
The landscape is dominated by lagoon, low sea and sandy areas, with an open and windy environment typical of this part of the coast. The conformation of the coastal stretch, protected and regular, creates a marine-lagunare ecosystem of great naturalistic interest.
The area is inserted in a wide and luminous landscape, with views ranging between sea, salt and wetlands of Sulcis. The constant presence of the wind is a distinctive element of the site, which contributes to the natural dynamics of the environment.
