Riserva forestale Nuraxi Figus

The Nuraxi Figus Forest Reserve is located in the territory of Gonnesa (CI), in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is an area of naturalistic interest characterized by forest and Mediterranean environments. The reserve is a space dedicated to the protection of local biodiversity and the conservation of the ecosystems typical of south-western Sardinia.
The area is dominated by Mediterranean vegetation, wooded areas and spontaneous vegetation, which host different plant species and fauna typical of the territory. The natural context is influenced by a balance between the forest environment and the surrounding rural landscape.
