Sa Punta de S’Aliga

The Sa Punta de S’Aliga Nature Reserve is located in the territory of Portoscuso (09010, CI), in the Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a coastal area of great naturalistic and landscape value of south-western Sardinia. The site is characterized by coastal environments that alternate cliffs, stretches of Mediterranean scrub and panoramic views of the sea.
The area is an important habitat for coastal flora and fauna, typical of Mediterranean ecosystems, with vegetation resistant to marine winds and environments still partly uncontaminated. The position on the promontory also offers privileged observation points on the coast of Sulcis.
