Santuario Nuragico di Tattinu

The Nuragico Sanctuary of Tattinu, located in Tattinu in Nuxis (Sulcis), is one of the most significant archaeological contexts linked to the cultic sphere of the nuragic civilization. The site is located in a natural environment of great suggestion, characterized by reliefs and rocky outcrops typical of the south-western Sardinian hinterland.
Unlike defensive or residential nuraghi, this complex is interpreted as a sacred or sanctuary area, probably linked to ritual and ceremonial practices. The structures, made of local stone, fit harmoniously into the landscape, suggesting a direct relationship between nature and spiritual dimension. The context reinforces the hypothesis of a place destined for community cults, in continuity with other Nuragic sacred areas of Sulcis.
