Scogliera di Capo Sandalo

Scogliera di Capo Sandalo is an imposing red porphyry promontory located at the western end of the island of San Pietro, in the territory of Carloforte. This extraordinary coastal stretch is distinguished by its spectacular cliffs overlooking the sea, shaped over time by the action of wind and waves, which create a wild and highly scenic landscape. Here is also the famous lighthouse of Capo Sandalo, built in 1864 and considered the most western lighthouse of Italy, still today symbol of the territory. It is one of the most picturesque sights of Sardinia, particularly loved for sunsets on the sea and its unspoilt natural atmosphere.
