Serra is Tres Portus

The Serra is Tres Portus is located in the territory of Sant’Antioco, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is classified as a Special Area of Conservation (ZSC), recognized for its high environmental value and for the presence of natural habitats of community interest.
The landscape is characterized by a coastal and sub-constituent system with alternation of hills, Mediterranean vegetation and rocky areas, which contribute to creating a heterogeneous environment and rich in biodiversity. The geographical position, near the sea, favors the presence of species adapted to conditions of wind and salinity.
The area has a balance between natural and geomorphological elements, with calcareous soils and rocky outcrops that shape the territory. The vegetation is dominated by Mediterranean shrub species, holm oaks and low formations, typical of the coastal environments of Sulcis.
