Sorgente di Sa Turri

The Sorgente di Sa Turri is located in the territory of Nuxis, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, in a hilly context characterized by limestone reliefs, Mediterranean vegetation and natural environments little anthropized. It is a natural source that contributes to the water system of the territory, inserted in a landscape of great environmental value.
The site is characterized by the presence of natural emergency water, which flows between rocks and permeable soils, giving rise to small surrounding humid areas. These environments promote the development of microhabitats linked to the constant presence of water.
The vegetation is made up of Mediterranean maquis, holm oaks and species that develop near the spring and along the most humid areas. The set creates a natural balance between water and vegetative elements.
