Spiaggia di Buggerru

The Buggerru Beach is located along the promenade of the municipality of Buggerru, in the heart of the Sulcis-Iglesiente, along the south-western coast of Sardinia, and is an urban beach overlooking a stretch of open sea framed by high cliffs. The context is strongly characterized by the mining history of the country and the direct relationship between the town and the coast.
The beach is composed of clear sand mixed with gravel traits, with a generally clear sea but often moved, exposed to the winds that characterize this part of the coast. The seabeds are variable, with sweeter sandy areas and other deeper and rocky, making the area suitable for bathing in the calmest days and for those who practice activities at sea.
