Spiaggia di Plagemesu

The beach of Plagemesu is located in the territory of Gonnesa, along the south-western coast of Sardinia, in a stretch where the coast alternates wide sandy beaches and still unplanned natural environments. It is an extended and open beach, with a simple but very characteristic landscape of the coastal Sulcis.
The beach consists of clear and fine sand, with a generally clear sea and intense shades, ranging from turquoise to deep blue depending on the wind conditions. The seabeds gradually descend into the central areas, while on the sides can become more irregular and rocky, making the area suitable for snorkeling even at the quietest points.
