Spiaggia di Portixeddu

The beach of Portixeddu is located along the south-western coast of Sardinia, between the territories of Buggerru and Fluminimaggiore, and is one of the largest and most scenic beaches of Sulcis-Iglesiente. It is a long sandy stretch that opens onto an exposed and luminous sea, in a still strongly natural context.
The beach is characterized by fine and clear sand, with a generally clear sea and crystalline shades, ranging from turquoise to intense blue depending on the wind conditions. The seabeds gradually decline, making bathing accessible and pleasant along much of the coastline.
