Spiaggia di Portu Banda

The beach of Portu Banda is located in the territory of Nebida, in the municipality of Iglesias, along the south-western coast of Sardinia, in one of the most scenic stretches of Sulcis-Iglesiente. It is a small cove enclosed between high rock cliffs, where the mining and natural landscape meet creating a very characteristic eyelash.
The beach is composed of sand mixed with gravel and small pebbles, with a generally clear and deep sea already close to the shore, with intense shades ranging between turquoise and dark blue. The seabeds are mainly rocky and irregular, making the area suitable for snorkeling and swimming in the open sea during periods of calm.
