Tesori della Parrocchia Vergine del Carmine

The Museo “Tesori della Parisha Vergine del Carmine”, set up at the parish church of Teulada, is an exhibition space dedicated to the enhancement of the artistic, historical and devotional heritage of the local community. The route is divided into two main sections, an artistic and a documentary, that tell the history of the parish through sacred works of art, documents and testimonies related to the religious life of the territory.
The artistic section collects restored canvases of great iconographic value, while the documentary one deepens the history of the church, liturgical practices and devotional traditions. Particular importance is given to the donations of the local noble families, with precious objects such as astilian crosses and historical glasses, as well as the finds of religious associations and brotherhoods. The path returns a complete picture of the spiritual and social history of the teuladine community.
