Traforo per Cala Lunga

The Traforo per Cala Lunga is located in the territory of Buggerru, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and represents a passage dug into the rock that allows access to the coastal area of Cala Lunga. It is a small infrastructure nestled in the rocky wall, typical of coastal routes historically linked to the mining and local roads.
The perforation crosses a natural context characterized by limestone cliffs, Mediterranean maquis and open sea, typical of the coast of Buggerru. Its location makes it a suggestive passage point, where the landscape suddenly opens towards the valley.
