The Detachment of the Coal Fire Brigade is an operational structure dedicated to the prevention, rescue and management of emergencies, with interventions on the territory to protect the safety of people, goods and environment. The garrison guarantees immediate intervention in case of fires, road accidents, disasters and danger situations, operating in coordination with the other emergency forces.
The headquarters is a strategic point for managing emergencies in the Sulcis area, ensuring rapid intervention and technical support in critical situations. The activity is part of the national protection and rescue system, with specialized and operational staff 24 hours a day.
