The Minerary Village of San Benedetto, located in Via Punta San Michele in the territory of Iglesias, represents one of the most interesting testimonies of the mining civilization of Sulcis-Iglesiente. The context is typical of the historical extractive areas, where industrial buildings, workers' homes and service structures integrate with a hilly landscape rich in Mediterranean vegetation.
