Villaggio nuragico di Sirimagus

The Nuragic Village of Sirimagus, in the territory of Carbonia (Sulcis-Iglesiente), is an archaeological area inserted in a quiet hilly environment, where the Mediterranean scrub and rocky outcrops draw a still strongly natural landscape. The position, slightly drawn from the towns, contributes to preserving its authentic character.
The site preserves traces of a settlement of the nuragic civilization, widespread in this area of south-western Sardinia. The visible remains allow us to understand the presence of housing structures and community spaces, highlighting the social organization of the populations living permanently in the area.
