Villaggio Nuragico Su Solu

The Nuragico Su Solu Village, located in the territory of Giba in Sulcis-Iglesiente, is inserted in a hilly context typical of the south-west Sardinia, characterized by Mediterranean maquis, rocky outcrops and large rural areas still little anthropized. The surrounding environment preserves a strong connection with nature and the ancient human frequentities of the territory.
The site represents a small settlement linked to the nuragic civilization, with traces that testify to the presence of structured communities and their organization in the living space. The remains present allow to read, even if in partial form, the layout of the village and the mode of life of the prehistoric populations that occupied this area of Sulcis.
Today the Nuragico Su Solu Village is a point of archaeological interest that contributes to the knowledge of the spread of nuragic culture in the south-western hinterland of Sardinia, in a simple but authentic landscape.
