Matta Manna Ulivo Millenario

The Matta Manna – Ulivo Millenario is located in the territory of Giba (09010, CI), in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is an arboreal specimen of great naturalistic and historical value. It is an ancient European Olea, known as olive tree, characterized by an estimated very high age and an imposing structure, making it a real living monument of the Mediterranean landscape.
The tree is a testament to the agricultural and olive tradition of the territory, deeply linked to the rural culture of southern Sardinia. Its presence highlights the strong link between man and environment, typical of the inner areas of Sulcis.
